the following is an After Action Report for full throttle mission that took place on 2017-09-20


# of 32nd Ranger units in attendance: 11

# of 72nd Airborne units in attendance: 6


Total number of units in attendance: 17



Overview of missions conducted:

- conduct mounted and dismounted patrols (completed)

- locate and eliminate two weapon caches ( 1/2 destroyed)

- react to indirect fire (completed)

- assault mortar position (not completed)



- comms were clean, clear, and precise

- units maintained formation and conducted room clearing from a mounted start

- air assets were requested and utilized efficiently and effectively




- units spent too much time at defensive position

- once contacted, units spent too much time in the kill zone

- units were left in a firefight after a retreat was called, then were later picked up




Bugs, issues, etc:

- Zeus crashed on multiple occasions while looking in map and building missions

- units became uneditable while in zeus, ( problem was resolved)

- server doesn't show up on search list, players needed to direct connect

- gates continue to decapitate allied vehicles



personal comments:


I feel that the units that were on did an excellent job adjusting to an environment without leadership present. online members of the command staff, squad leaders, and pilot staff quickly decided what map to operate on ( full throttle wasn't showing up but we did use the mission on the operations server). after a while we were ready to operate and everyone was able to accomplish their missions effectively. we can get better in a few aspects but overall I am impressed.
