Currently, in my opinion the staff shops are extremely complicated. Why don't we get rid of the pretty titles for jobs, and just revert to old they old way the 32nd and most milsims conduct staff shops.

Currently most Staff Shops have subsections and cause more confusion.

Old way the Staff Shops were done:

S-1 Personnel

  • Deals with Recruiting and Unit Administration

S-2 Unit Affairs

  • Deals with unit relations and background checks.

S-3 Operations

  • Plans campaigns, and writes WARNO's, OPORD's,

S-4 Combat Photography

  • Records, takes photos, edits, and deals with units public image.

S-5 Mission Making

  • Builds Bases, FOB's, and missions for unit events.

S-6 Technical Support

  • Assist with troubleshooting mod problem.

S-7 Training

  • Conducts unit training.

Super simple and super easy. Go ahead and vote!

I agree, the S-Shops are way too complicated and unorganized. I feel like things are thrown into each other and don't make sense. For example, why is mission making and Website/Perscom Administration in the same s-shop?

I completely agree we need to revert the changes. It is unnecessary and unorganized the way it is now.

This is the response I was given by Church on the subject of mission making being moved back to its own S-shop when I submitted our most recent list of unit suggestions.

"Semantics at this point, I don't see why it matters if it's under S-4 or S-5. The result is still the same, I head up the Electronics Maintenance Chiefs and still have final say on any project."

I hope this vote may change his mind on it.

I am both for and against it. The old way just vibes with me cause well its normal Army. Church brung this from 3ID because of how they ran. It makes sense to him and its understandable. As for how it will turn out. I can say I like the normal S Shops better, but he has the call on the ball for it and it'll just take some getting used too.
